For stock / broth: Dissolve 24 g (≈ 2 heaped tablespoons) in 1 L of boiling water to make a rich ikan bilis base stock.
As seasoning: Sprinkle directly into stir-fries, marinades, or sauces during cooking (start with ½ to 1 teaspoon and adjust to taste).
Marinades & rubs: Mix with oil, garlic, or citrus, then coat proteins or vegetables for deeper flavor.
